3 Days in Rome

Written by Miki Isayama

Rome is magical and romantic, like stepping into a scene from a romantic movie. As you stroll through its ancient streets, you can almost hear the whispers of history. The charm of Rome invites you to explore and fall in love with every corner of this timeless city. Rome was filled with inspiration for me. In just 3 days, I explored the city and Vatican City. I highly recommend wearing comfortable flat shoes or sneakers to make the most of the city by walking. Rome has a lot of cobblestone streets, and while it is walkable, you might want to take a taxi on your way back. Everywhere is so charming; as you walk, you can see beautiful historic and archaeological sites around every corner. Our hotel was in a perfect location from the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Palatine Hill, House of Augustus, and many more. I would recommend staying in a hotel with a good location to make it easier to get around. It’s worth the expense.

A narrow cobblestone street flanked by yellow buildings with black shutters, some with potted plants and outdoor furniture, under a clear sky.
A woman in a white dress standing on stone steps in an urban setting with historic buildings, clear blue sky, and an Italian flag flying above.
Yellow building facade with black window shutters, some open, and pink flowering plants and green vines climbing across the building.
A woman in white summer outfit with sunglasses is enjoying ice cream cones on a city sidewalk.
A narrow European street with cobblestone pavement, surrounded by tall yellow and beige buildings with dark shutters, some open. People walk along the street on a sunny day.
Two hands holding ice cream cones outside an ice cream shop, one with white ice cream and the other with a light green flavor, with a colorful sign and menu board in the background.
A woman wearing a white off-shoulder dress and sunglasses standing in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy, during daytime.
Pink bougainvillea flowers hanging over a street with outdoor cafe awnings, older buildings, and a blue parking sign in the background.
Photograph of the Colosseum, an ancient Roman amphitheater in Rome, Italy, under a clear blue sky with some construction or maintenance equipment visible in the foreground.
A narrow European street with outdoor cafes and tables on the right side, tall historic buildings with shutters on the windows on either side, green plants and a trash bin on the left, under a clear blue sky.
